About the Firm
- Richard T. Alexander, Jr. consistently and aggressively represents adults and children against stronger and better-financed insurance companies, corporations, or government entities. We never represent insurance companies or "big business” and we will continue to work for people injured due to the wrongdoing of insurance companies, corporations, government entities, or individuals. We are trial lawyers and we are proud of our profession.
- For many, the term “trial lawyer” has a negative meaning. To us, trial lawyers are the last line of defenders for the rights of the “little guy.” Our firm motto, “Vindex Injuria” is Latin and means defenders of the injured. It appears on our letterhead to remind us of why we are trial lawyers. What makes a single person the equal of a huge insurance company, a billion dollar corporation, or a government entity is the right to have your claims redressed, the right to be HEARD, your right to a trial by a jury of your peers. We are dedicated to upholding the Constitution of the United States, the Constitution of the State of Georgia, and the right to trial by jury.
- We focus on developing a personal relationship with our clients and taking the time to get to know them as persons. We offer a free consultation whether by telephone, at our office, or some other location convenient for the client in appropriate cases. We will take the time to listen to you because we want to know and understand your story. In this way, we can best represent your legal interests and convey your story to a judge or jury.
- Our work for clients is thorough and zealous. We believe that the best way to get a case to settle is to get it ready for trial. We adhere to the highest ethical and professional standards in advancing a client's case. With that in mind, we protect our client's confidences and secrets. We employ a state of the art security system in our offices and we use state of the art technology to make our work efficient and effective.
- In the face of difficult injuries and circumstances, our clients deserve our personal attention. Clients are paying a fee for access to us and we are accessible. We return client telephone calls the same day or by the next business day and we are happy to meet with and spend time with our clients in our office or in their home. We have cell phones and email that we use regularly to communicate with clients for that purpose. We communicate in clear language that our clients can understand. We advise as well as represent and our clients are entitled to know what we do, how we do it, and why.
- During our initial consultation, we will listen to your story and try to give you an understanding of the various legal issues in your case. We will give you a preliminary opinion on the potential outcomes, an estimate of likely case expenses, and the likelihood of success for settlement or trial of the case. We will explain clearly our fee contract and our mutual expectations as we work together to solve your legal problem.
- We understand the stress, frustration and economic pressure that a serious injury can cause for you and your family because we are not only advocates, but counselors. We will treat you with respect and dignity throughout the litigation process. You may have never been faced physical injuries coupled with financial difficulties. Almost all of our clients have worn those shoes and we will help you find solutions to get you through.
- Choosing a lawyer is personal decision just as choosing a client is a personal decision for us. We can talk on the phone, but we prefer to meet face to face. Come meet with us in person, tell us your story and let us figure out whether we can help you. We may not become your lawyers, but we will surely become your friends.
